Irreverently Refined Announces Uptown Robatayaki Stall, Maneki

Irreverently Refined announces a new concept coming to The Alley at Latta Arcade early 2024 of traditional robatayaki stall Maneki.

Maneki will serve up local meat and seafood grilled in traditional Hokkaido Japanese methods with skewers ranging from $2-$5 with specials based on seasonality. The previous Chef de Cuisine of Bardo, Kenny Do, will be operating the restaurant.

On select evenings, Maneki will also offer a “speed Chef’s counter” where patrons will receive a coursed tasting menu over 45 minutes by Chef Kenny himself. The tasting will start at $65 per person.

Maneki will be open Wednesday through Saturday from noon till sold out or 2 a.m as well as additional days for events in Uptown. Sake will be available for purchase with skewers.

Projected opening is set for March 2024.
